Vor ein paar Wochen wurde bei mir (nachdem ich das erfolgreich einige Jahre verdrängt hatte) Zöliakie diagnostiziert. Ich will hier aber nicht weinen, sondern vor allem ein paar Links publizieren, die mich und ggf. auch andere mit derselben Diagnose, interessieren:
I just stumbled across this link. Sounds like a major breakthrough to me. This is going to get really interesting since on the beginning of this month they have done something similar already in Japan. Great news for all diabetics I believe 
I already told you, that I am going to program a little application for the management diabetes blood glucose and insuline injections. Today I finised my first draft of this application. It is pretty basic and does not contain much functionality except entering new entries , deletion of them and also loading and saving of this data. Basically it is a copy of one of the examples found in the “Learning Cocoa with Objective-C” book. This book is really helpful and should be in the shelf of every Cocoa beginner
I will publish this little program soon on my homepage javafreedom.org, which is down at the moment, but will be the place for this and other projects I was/am involved in.

Since I am a diabetic myself, which I told you earlier, I am somewhat interested in this topic. Today I found a website (sorry guys, it is in german), which tells the user, that Halle Berry is diabetic. Also there is an article about Steve Jobs which states, that he probably has diabetic as well, because of his pancreas cancer. Well, I think I am in pretty good companionship.
Also on this page you will find lots of other VIPs which do have diabetes. It does not really make me feel better, but at least, I do not feel alone in this world (Well, I know a couple of other diabetics in real world as well, anyway).
