Hello everybody,
I wish all of you a happy new year. Hope that you will slide in good (we say in germany Guten Rutsch).

Right now, after the XMas holidays and the upcoming weekend, i am sitting once again in front of my computer and feel quite bored. I did during the last couple of years several projects, but none of these really got me hooked for a long time. Is this bad? I don’t know, but obviously only the interest in Ant has had a couple of benefits for my past work. All the rest of the projects are mainly of private interest and i really did not have any benefits

Probably I should look for another hobby to get some excitement again. Right now, I am just looking into a couple of projects as well as some real different things like music instruments. I hope that one of these things will get me excitet again.

I was just out of curiosity browsing for different alternatives for Trac and found the following alternatives:

• Redmine – written in Ruby
• Collaboa – Ruby, seems to be not mantained anymore
• Devalot
• Plone POI

There is no real ranking done by myself. I will report back, when I found out more.
